The rollercoaster starts without any energy at all because it doesn’t have any KE, not in motion. It also doesn’t have GPE, not rising from the ground so its total energy is zero. The points on the rollercoaster I chose was point 1, 2, and 3 and on point 1 the GPE is at its highest peak on the rollercoaster because the rollercoaster can’t go any higher then were it is at. Now point 2 doesn’t have any GPE at all so it has the least because it is at the lowest point of the rollercoaster. The 3rd point of the rollercoaster has a small amount of GPE because it is increasing when it starts to go up. I reason why the GPE changes because the rollercoaster goes up then goes down to make the ride more fun. In a rollercoaster it’s fast which brings us to KE in our 1, 2 and 3 points first off on point 1 the rollercoaster has the least amount of KE, because it is at it's highest point on the graph and it is not moving. On point 2 the KE is high but not all the way. Now on point 3 there is still KE but it is slowly increasing while the rollercoaster goes up. So that is how much KE and GPE are in this rollercoaster and why it is. And that rapes it all up I guess.
